While working on Billionaire Bash! (BB for short) we wanted to encapsulate the message that the real issue with our climate is the unchecked rate at which we consume products. Those who create said products, cars, phones, etc, benefit the most off of the destruction of our environment. In a sense, Musk shooting Rockefeller in the face with a shotgun is the metaphor for how ruthless capitalism can get. The background images of fires, deforestation, smog filled cities, and more, are meant to be the direct consequences of you, the player, playing this game. BB started out as a jokey passion project for our class at DePaul but it turned into a game that we are intensely proud of. Marking the first game created by the climate bros!
